Green Mountain Access Television has a fully functioning studio space located in the Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park, Vermont. Our spacious 23' by 25' studio provides a perfect location for your next show. The studio features a computerized video mixing/editing system- the Newtek Video Toaster 4. Along with this, the studio also features a hanging pipe system with a selection studio lighting fixtures, a curtian backdrop, green screen, teleprompter, and a projection screen. We have several desks that usually serve as set pieces for interview shows that take place in the studio. Our typical studio setup features three of our Sony PDX-10 MiniDV camcorders. Additionally, we have a full featured selection of audio equipment to make your production sound good, too! From wireless and wired lavaliers, to a mackie mixer- we've got what you need to make your next show happen.
Also, GMATV has a variety of field production equipment to help you tape your next event. In addition to our studio cameras, we have 3 Sony PDX-10 MiniDV camera kits for field production use. A typical camera kit includes the camera, one large battery (holds a 3 hour charge), one small battery (holds a 1 hour charge), a tv connection cable, lens cleaning cloth, power adapter, and a bogen-manfrotto tripod. GMATV also has a live switcher production package which contains a Videonics MX-1 four camera switcher, a Mackie 8 channel audio mixer, a DVD recorder, and two monitors.
Our state of the art video editing facilities include two Mac Pro systems with Final Cut Studio 2. Both of these computers are fully equipped for your next video project. We also have a Windows based editing system on our Newtek Video Toaster 4 studio computer. In the near future we will also be purchasing Adobe Premiere and After Effects to use on another one of our Windows-based editing systems.
GMATV's broadcast system has gone through several upgrades in the past year to increase reliability and flexibility. This being an audio compressor and a larger hard drive for storing video that is set to air. At the heart of our system is the Leightronix TCD/IP and R/P. These two devices store the media that we broadcast and control when media is played throughout the day. the TCD/IP and R/P run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to bring you the content that you see on GMATV's Channel 15.
